Discover flourishing forest, rocky headlands, stunning views and abounding wildlife
One of the nicest things to do is to take an early morning or late afternoon walk along the beach directly across the road. Walk down to Big Hill and back or walk past Delicate Nobby all the way to the far end of Sunset Beach.
For those that are keen for extra long walks there are tracks over Racecourse Headland which then allows to walk along the beach to Crescent Head.
In addition there are mountain walking tracks over Big Hill Headland…which offers a terrific view.
Another great thing to do at low tide is to take the pushbikes for a ride along the hard sand. you can ride to Sunst beach and down to Big Hill. The emphasis is low tide because it’s not possible to do on the soft sand which is there at times other than low tide.
